Introduction
Dr. Lijuan Li has been engaged in the clinical, scientific research and teaching in internal medicine for 38 years. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the metabolic diseases and comorbidities among the middle-aged and elderly people. Dr. Li is also skilled at the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and intervention of multiple system diseases and health problems in the middle and elderly. She obtained her PhD degree in internal medicine and has been a visiting scholar at Leiden University Medical Center (the Netherlands). Dr. Li is currently a standing member of the first Geriatric Medicine Society of China Medical Women’s Association, a member of the second committee of Family Medicine Branch of the Cross-Straits Medicine Exchange Association, an expert in medical health/immunization of Pudong New Area Medical Association. She has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals, 2 papers in the SCI-indexed journals as the first author. Dr. Li has participated in the compilation of 2 books and won 2 scientific research projects at provincial and bureau-levels. She has participated one project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China as well.

Dr. Wenjie Cao is an experienced neurologist with over 20 years’ clinical experience. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke, headaches, dizziness and insomnia, anxiety and depression, and in the intervention treatment of intra/extra cranial vascular stenosis (evaluation and stenting), etc. Dr. Cao obtained his MD and Ph.D. from Shanghai Fudan University School of Medicine (China).
