Bridging the "Last Mile" of Doctor-Patient Communications Through Integrated Online and Offline Services

While expanding its diversified healthcare services network, Parkway Shanghai is also actively strengthening the integration of online and offline care. Earlier this year, Parkway Shanghai Hospital launched its Internet Hospital services. The newly opened MediCentre adopts augmented reality (AR) technology and digital enhancements to streamline every step from registration to consultation, delivering a more efficient and convenient patient experience.

At the opening ceremony, Parkway Shanghai signed a partnership agreement with Shanghai Health Channel to jointly launch the "Parkway Health Talk" livestream studio. The platform will produce one to two health education programmes each month, featuring senior physicians from Parkway Shanghai and external experts discussing health topics of public interest such as chronic disease management, child health, gastrointestinal disorders, sports rehabilitation, mental wellness, and preventive care. Presented in a clear and accessible format, these programmes aim to deliver reliable medical knowledge and help close the “last mile” gap between professional healthcare and public understanding. The first episode is expected to go live in December, streaming simultaneously on both parties’ platforms.
