Introduction
Dr. Yuan Lu has nearly 10 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her areas of expertise include digestive system disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, chronic colitis, ulcerative colitis, chronic gastritis, functional dyspepsia, constipation, and other functional gastrointestinal disorders; chronic pain conditions, including neck, shoulder, lower back and dorsal pain, neuralgic headache, migraine, dysmenorrhea, arthritis, fasciitis, and postherpetic neuralgia; as well as the management of insomnia, anxiety and depressive symptoms, menopausal syndrome, and subhealth conditions.
Dr. Yuan Lu obtained a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Tuina from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and subsequently completed postdoctoral research in Biomedical Engineering at Fudan University. She has led and participated in multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. As first author or corresponding author, Dr. Lu has published more than 20 academic papers, including 8 SCI-indexed publications, and has served as editor-in-chief or contributing editor of four academic monographs. She currently serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Moxibustion Branch of the China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and is a member of the Shanghai Acupuncture Association.
