Dr. Zhuo Zhang has 25 years of clinical experience in general surgery, with comprehensive expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of both benign and malignant conditions in the hepatobiliary and pancreatic system, colorectal region, thyroid, hernia, perianal area, and breast.
Dr. Zhuo Zhang earned his Ph.D. degree and M.D. degree in Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (formerly Shanghai Second Medical University). Following his graduation, he worked for 15 years in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at Ruijin Hospital. After leaving Ruijin Hospital, Dr. Zhang served as Head of Surgery at several leading private medical institutions in Shanghai. He currently serves as a senior surgical consultant or specialist at multiple private medical centers. Dr. Zhang is the Surgery Committee of the Shanghai Association of Integrative Medicine, the Day Surgery Management Committee of the Shanghai Hospital Association, the Chinese Non-Government Medical Institutions Association, and the Chinese Pancreatology Society.
