Introduction

Dr. Qing Wang is a chief physician with over 30 years of experience in the field of gynecology. She specializes in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of female reproductive system disorders, particularly skilled in hysteroscopic techniques for treating submucosal fibroids, intrauterine adhesions, uterine septum, embedded intrauterine devices, cesarean scar defects, cesarean scar pregnancies, endometrial polyps, and intramural fibroids. In addition, she has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and carcinoma in situ, with particular expertise in using the loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) to treat precancerous cervical lesions.

Dr. Wang graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University with a master’s degree in obstetrics and gynecology. In 1993, she joined the Cervical Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, where she has since focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cervical, intrauterine, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). She has remained on staff at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University (Red House Hospital) ever since. Dr. Wang has co-authored the monograph Practical Gynecological Endoscopy, published around 30 papers in SCI and core journals, and written over 100 popular science articles on cervical and intrauterine diseases. In addition, she serves as a lecturer for the Ministry of Health’s hormone replacement therapy program for female reproductive endocrinology. She was honored as an “Outstanding Red House Physician” in 2010, named a “Fudan University March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter” in 2011–2012, and recognized as an Outstanding Chief Physician by the Red House Hospital in 2014.

Dr. Shanji Li has over 20 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant gynecological tumors, pelvic floor dysfunction, congenital reproductive tract malformations, and female genital reconstructive surgery. Dr. Li is proficient in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, with particular expertise in robotic-assisted surgery, single-port laparoscopy, transvaginal procedures, and pelvic floor reconstruction.

Dr. Li earned her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from the Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University and subsequently obtained her Master's degree in Medicine from Chosun University, South Korea. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the School of Life Sciences, Fudan University. Dr. Li serves as Medical Team Leader of the Gynecology Ward at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinical Medicine Center (Hongkou North Campus), Shanghai General Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She has also been a visiting scholar at Chosun University (South Korea) and the University of Miyazaki (Japan). Dr. Li is Chair of the Youth Group for Female Sexual Dysfunction Rehabilitation, Shanghai Women's Disease Rehabilitation Committee; Member of the Menopause Healthcare Committee, Shanghai Maternal and Child Health Association; and Council Member of the Innovation and Organ Reconstruction Branch, Gender Medicine and Genital Plastic Surgery Branch, and Female Genital Reconstruction Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics. She is also Committee Member of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Committee, China Medical Education Association. Dr. Li is Editor-in-Chief of Come On, Ask Boldly: A Private Health Q&A Book for All Women, Associate Editor of Overview of Gynecological Tumors, contributing author of Diagnosis and Treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia and Related Diseases and 100 Questions on Female Sexual Dysfunction Rehabilitation, and translator of Female Sexual Dysfunction - FSD. She has published over ten papers in core Chinese and SCI-indexed journals and leads the Postgraduate Medical Education Curriculum Development Project at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine titled Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery Training and Assessment.

Dr. Michelle Lu-Ferguson has nearly 30 years of clinical experience and specializes in common gynecological diseases, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, menopause management, premature ovarian failure, female endocrine disorders, female urology and pelvic floor diseases, sexual health and dysfunction, and adolescent health.

Dr. Michelle Lu-Ferguson holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Ohio State College of Medicine, a Master of Science degree from New York University. She has a robust educational foundation, having studied at the eight-year medical program at Peking Union Medical College and the Pre-medical Department of the Life Sciences (Biology) at Peking University. She completed her residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical College of Rutgers University, where she also served on the faculty. Her roles included clinical practice, overseeing residency training, educating medical students, and conducting clinical big data research. Dr. Lu-Ferguson has also held key positions in several private hospitals in Shanghai.
