Introduction
Dr. Betty Jiang has more than 10 years of clinical experience in neurology. She specializes in pre-stroke screening and risk factor management (including hypertension, hypotension, hyperlipidemia, atrial fibrillation, and diabetes); performing transcranial Doppler (TCD) with bubble study to evaluate intracranial vascular stenosis and micro-embolic signals; investigation and intervention of acute and subacute cerebrovascular diseases; and management of chronic migraine, dizziness, and other neurological conditions. In addition, her research focuses on the assessment of acute endovascular collateral circulation and the integration of telehealth into existing healthcare systems.
Dr. Jiang holds a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, and obtained her PhD from Monash University/Monash Medical Centre, Australia. Dr. Jiang has worked in the Department of Neurology at Huashan Hospital Fudan University in Shanghai for many years.She is currently a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, the Australasian Stroke Academy, the American Stroke Association, and the Telehealth Victoria Community.
