乳房肿块是乳房中形成的块状结构。有的女性会在双乳中摸到小肿块，这一般是正常的乳房组织。特别在经期中更容易摸到乳房肿块，并伴有疼痛。这往往源自乳房内的多余积液，通常会自行消退。
当乳房中出现较大较硬的肿块。尽管这种肿块往往是良性的，但还是会引起人们的担忧与焦虑。当然绝大部分乳房肿块发生在女性，但有些男性也会遭遇类似状况。
什么情况下，乳房肿块需要引起重视？
绝大多数女性害怕乳房内的肿块是癌症的征兆。其实在年龄不超过40岁的女性中，80 - 85%的乳房肿块并不是恶性的。
